History of Linux.


Linux is one operating system that took a lot of attention of computer users worldwide. But do you know where it came from Linux itself?

History of Ubuntu Linux.



Ubuntu comes from African language that is "Humanity to Others" which means "Humanity to Others". On this basis the release of Ubuntu Linux was released in 2004. This operating system is a derivative of the other linux operating systems, namely Debian.
Ubuntu itself is made with a purpose: always free without any license fees, an open source (open code), and ready for use in a stable condition. Ubuntu is supported by a company called Canonical, Ltd. which has the purpose to assist the development, distribution, and promotion of products that is open source (open code). The company is headquartered in Europe and led by a man named Mark Shuttleworth.
Since its launch, Ubuntu received great attention from other Linux users. This is because the stability of which is owned by Ubuntu itself. Besides the comfort and convenience that has Ubuntu become a major attraction for Linux users around the world.
The Ubuntu version has been released and has outstanding are as follows:

1) Version 4:10 (Warty Warthdog).
2) Version 5:04 (Hoary Hedgedog).
3) Version 5.10 (Breezy Badger).
4) Version 6:06 (Drapper Drake).
5) Version 6.10 (Edgy Eft)
6) Version 7.04 (Feisty Fawn).
7) Version 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbson).

8) Version 8.04.4 LTS ( Hardy Heron)
9) Version 10.04 LTS ( Lucid Lynx)
10) Version 10.10 ( Maverick Meerkat)
11) Version 11.04 ( Natty Narwhal)
12) Version 11.10 ( Oneiric Ocelot)
