Ubuntu Linux is Ubuntu-based Linux distribution developed by LinuxMover Foundation Indonesia (YPLI) and Indonesia Ubuntu(Ubuntu-id.orgto produce a Linux distribution that fits the needs of computer users in Indonesia.

Ubuntu Linux distro development goal is to produce a Linux distribution that fits the needs of computer users in Indonesia,especially for education, businesses, and governmentUbuntu 2.0supports multimedia such as mp3vcdand dvdand have a themeor a distinctive graphical display of Indonesia. Ubuntu developmentwill continue to be conducted openly in a public forumThis activity is expected to result in the release of Ubuntu one to two times a year




Philosophy Linux BlankON

Ubuntu is a typical headgear some tribes / cultures in Indonesia,among other Javanese (mostly from the province of Central Java,Yogyakarta and East Java), Sundanese (mostly from West Javaand Banten province), Madurese, interest Baliand others.
Ubuntu also means blank (binary 0) and on (binary 1) or digital cap(modernwith the classic look (ancient).Another meaning of the word Ubuntu is a change from the blank(empty) to be on (lit or filled).Ubuntu philosophy is the meaning of hope for change from theUbuntu distro users have not realized (blank) became aware of(local) that there is a Linux that can be used to improve skills in IT,dignityand independence of Indonesia.
